This artwork is another approach to the project A sound that arrives late to an image which proposes to design posters for an imaginary film - a road movie around a couple who seek to build an idea of home while traveling.
The starting point for A house on the beach is defined by two characters imagining an idea of home: if for one of them, the dream house is placed by the sea, for the other, this scenario only brings to mind the decaying state of those buildings whose iron structures oxidized and corroded due to exposure to the sea air.
Between the refreshing breeze and the inevitable decay, the leisure space and the salty ruin, A house on the beach reflects on this place of desire and maladjustment that constitutes a shared commitment between two people.
